The Yellowhead Roadrunners car club has held eighth-mile drag races at Neepawa Municipal Airport every year since 2001. The event usually draws 70 to 80 racers and has drawn up to 3,000 spectators. The last races found were in 2019, and it’s unknown whether any ran in 2020, when Covid-19 stopped racing at other strips.
