Drag races were held at the Vernon Regional Airport in the Okanagan Valley on Father’s Day in June for at least two years. Before that, the airport’s Father’s Day event centered on an air show, and after the drags ended it featured an air show and a car show. Little has been found beyond YouTube videos of the races.
