The track shut down in July 2025 when its operator gave up the lease, citing costs of about $30,000 a month. New owners brought it back later that year, and big-money bracket races are on the 2026 calendar.

History
Todd Stephens built the strip in 1991, but bad weather held up the opening until a test-and-tune shakedown on April 18, 1992. It ran as an NHRA track its whole life and closed in mid-2025 over lease problems, public pressure and rising costs, but a new group reopened it, and it was hosting bracket races again in 2026.
