This NHRA-sanctioned strip opened on Sunday, November 1, 1964, for stockers and gassers only. It was 2.5 miles west of Whitesboro and a mile north of Highway 82, owned by Bob Garvin and Homer Brookshear. The Whitesboro Auto Club helped run the Sunday races. The strip was half a mile long and forty feet wide, and spectators had to stay at least fifty feet back. In its first year it averaged 400 to 700 spectators and 50 to 75 cars, and 650 people came on February 14, 1965. Jerry Sewell ran the track in 1967. Nothing has turned up after that year.
