This quarter-mile strip was ten miles southwest of Cumberland and five miles west of Comstock, just north of Staples Lake. A drag racer named Gary built it and sold it in 1974. He later said it served as a landing strip for a short time before becoming a street to lake homes, and that he regretted selling it. John Hugdahl raced a ‘68 Camaro SS in C/MP there in 1968 and part of 1969, winning a good number of trophies and some money, and remembered 1968 as a fun summer at Tenora.
