History

The track’s website said it was 46 years old in 2016, which puts its opening in 1970. It was NHRA sanctioned by 1971, when it appeared in that year’s NHRA drag strip guide. It sits 5-6 miles southeast of Yakima and still runs under NHRA sanction. It has been a basic bracket racing track with no major events.
