This IHRA-sanctioned eighth-mile track opened in late 2001 and ran through the 2014 season. Mike Adcock bought it partway through, in March 2014. After that season he spent $750,000 on a full makeover, planning to reopen under IHRA sanction by summer 2015, but it didn’t happen. In early 2016 Adcock said the refurbished strip would hold no more public races and would become the home of the “Pinks: All Out” TV show and other drag racing TV programs under discussion. Local racers were let down.
