Frank Spittle raced here a few times around the early 1960s and remembered it as a pretty decent strip. It was paved then, though he thinks it may have started as a dirt track, possibly in the 1950s. When he visited the site southwest of Pageland in 2016, trees were growing up through the old pavement. No newspaper or online records of the strip have turned up, so its years and history are still unknown.
