No one has pinned down where this strip was yet.
Little has been found about the drag races near Oliver in the 1970s. Races were held in at least two years, apparently several each year, on a straight stretch of highway outside town. In 1978 the Black Sage Racing Club ran them. At the season finale on October 15, 1978, 900 people watched 44 racers compete for trophies and cash.
