The Oil City Cycle Club had its grounds in Tippery by at least 1965, off Route 157 seven miles east of Oil City, with a third-mile track on the property. The only drag races found there were in 1965-66 and 1969-70, though races were probably held in 1967-68 too. They were AMA sanctioned.
