This strip opened on June 2, 1963, about five miles west of Selinsgrove on Route 522, just off Sportsman’s Drive in Middlecreek Township. Cloyd Herman owned it, and Francis Moll was the first general manager. Races were timed over a fifth-mile at first and an eighth-mile by at least 1966. At an event on Sunday, August 11, 1963, Will Leitch won C/S in his 1960 Plymouth. Newspapers noted a small grass fire near the strip in September 1964. On June 22, 1969, a clutch explosion badly injured a 21-year-old spectator, and in 1971 a jury awarded him $55,000 for his disabling injuries. The site is now a pig farm, with long roofed pens built over the old strip.
