This strip on 93 acres at 8201 S. Noland Road in Kansas City largely took the place of the old Kansas City Timing Association strip. It was NHRA-sanctioned as early as January 1968 but switched to AHRA a few months later. Jim Rodgers managed it in 1968, when it raced every Sunday from March through November and hosted an AHRA Grand American points race on July 20 and the AHRA Finals on October 4-6. Another AHRA Grand American race ran July 4-7, 1974. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Harmon Jr. co-owned and ran it in 1980, racing Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The last race was November 27, 2011, and the city bought the property for a public park.
