No one has pinned down where this strip was yet.

On July 24, 1956, twenty-five teenage boys in Jasper met to form a car club and start a drag strip, and elected Tommy Pierce president. With backing from the Chamber of Commerce, they set up a strip one mile from Jasper on the Parrish Highway and held their first race on September 30, 1956. Racing may have continued into 1957, but that isn’t confirmed. A 1962 news article mentioned that the Lancers car club had bought land near Jasper for a drag strip, but nothing more about it has turned up.
