This NHRA-sanctioned track ran from the late 1960s into the early 1970s near Avenue 45 and North Jackson. A March 29, 1968 article in the Palm Springs Desert Sun placed the quarter-mile races on Avenue 45 east of Jackson, run under the direction of the Indio City Police.
