Owner Roy Giles opened his Hilltop Dragstrip for motorcycle drag racing on April 30, 1967. No earlier drag racing there has been found. The track was on River Road between Beaver Falls and Ellwood City, a location confirmed by Giles’s grandson, Gary Mittner.
