In June and July 1961, this paved half-mile D-shaped track ran drag races every Monday night on an eighth-mile section. The Dayton Road Knights ran them. The first, on June 19, drew over sixty cars, and Wes Campbell won top stock eliminator in his 1960 Dodge Dart. The speedway site later became a landfill, which buried every trace of the track.
