Dairy farmer Ernest Luomala, fed up with government controls and regulations, put his farm equipment and dairy herd up for sale to raise $20,000. He wanted the money to blacktop a drag strip on 80 acres of his 140-acre farm. Nothing more about it has turned up, so the strip probably was never built.
