Less is known about this track’s early years than its later ones. Jay Stilz was operating manager in the 1990s. In mid-2023 the 64-acre property holding the eighth-mile track was put up for sale for $350,000. Tim Baldridge, who leased the strip from the owner, hoped to keep racing after a sale, but the buyer decided otherwise, and the strip closed at the end of the 2023 season.
