This eighth-mile strip opened for a weekend race in October 2016. It runs on the east-west runway of the World War II RCAF airfield on the southwest edge of Wheatland. Three weekend events were held in 2019. Track damage interrupted that year’s Dennis Neelin Memorial, and it was fixed in time for the September event. The 2020 season was canceled because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
